Written in 1879 Ibsen's 'A Dolls House' is one of the most ground breaking plays in theatrical history. Blackmail and innocence, love and hypocrisy, honour and betrayal all collide.
Nora thought she had the perfect life until a ghost from the past returns. Forced to confront reality, she recognises that she is little more than her husband’s plaything, a doll in a doll’s house.

The Forsyte Saga Nuffield Theatre
Thursday 24th January 7.30pm Tickets £10.

The ultimate in family drama, The Forsyte Saga charts the progress of a well-to-do London dynasty, weaving a tale of love, obsession and deceit through the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. From Soames’ possessive love for Irene, to June’s thwarted passion for Philip Bossini, through to the breach of trust between Old Jolyon Forsyte and his wayward son, this hugely thrilling drama brings John Galsworthy’s classic novel to life. Following on from two hugely successful television productions, the Southampton University Players bring this tale of passion, betrayal and ultimately redemption to The Nuffield Theatre in January.

Little Women Nuffield Theatre Maskers Theatre
Tuesday 29th January 7.30pm Tickets £10.00 Special offer 2 for 1

Little Women tells the classic story of the four spirited March sisters growing up in New England in the 1860s – against the backdrop of the American Civil War. This engaging adaptation sensitively illustrates the sisters’ path to maturity.
It captures the imagination of modern readers and audiences as firmly as those who took the March family to their hearts when they made their first appearance in 1868.
Little Women evokes a nostalgia for the charm of yesteryear and those salad days when everything seemed simpler, kinder and more clearly defined.
